"I had been teaching piano lessons to beginner students for
about 3 years when I decided to take piano lessons to sharpen my skills as a
pianist. In the meantime, I had a great desire to become a better piano teacher.
I researched pedagogy sites on the internet, as well read pedagogy books, since
I did not have the time to go college and take classes. I was hoping to find a
piano teacher to help me in both areas. I was referred to Master's by a member
of the local music teacher's association. She referred me to Ashley Bradford,
whom she described as 'vivacious, positive, and full of energy'. When Ashley
spoke with me about the program, I was so excited because it was exactly what I
had been looking for! I have been enrolled in the Pedagogical Institute for
about a year now, and I feel like my skills as a pianist and a teacher have
dramatically increased. I feel very empowered because I have more confidence in
my teaching and playing ability, and I feel that my students are benefiting from
the things that I am learning. I feel extremely blessed to have found such a
wonderful program."

"When my kids started piano lessons, I
realized parent's involvement would be crucial. Being a self-taught pianist,
I worked with them as much as I can. Then the kids got to a point where I
realized that I needed to get some help to continue with my involvement.
So I was totally thrilled when I found
out about Master's Pedagogical Institute. Not only the pedagogical program
fits my need, but the WholeMusic approach is exactly what I think what
everyone should expect in a music program. As I worked with Ashley, I found
her to have an acute sense of what I need and wish to learn during the
private lesson. Getting to work with the many piano teachers in the program
also provide lots of helpful insights.
I now feel very comfortable with helping my kids and with my expectation of
their progress. I can see them improving a lot faster already. I also am
making a lot of progress with my own playing."
