The
mall concert is the second concert on our yearly concert circuit
and takes place during the cool of November in the amphitheatre
outside Superstition Springs Mall. It is a casual, open concert.
The individual teacher guides the performer in choosing a
crowd-pleasing piece to perform at the concert. You can go to
http://www.superstitionsprings.com/ to see an evening
picture of the performance area. We will be meeting and
performing outside on the stage by the movie theatre and
merry-go-round.
This concert is a
much more public event then the coffee-shop pop concert. A mandatory dress
rehearsal will happen the morning of the concert. Performers are required to
attend dress rehearsal in the morning and to attend the concert that evening and
stay for the entire 60 minute set they are performing in, whether or not they
are done performing. Any performer that will not be able to come to dress
rehearsal or stay for his or her entire set should notify the office before the
concert so that he or she can be taken off of the set list and wait until the
next concert venue comes around to perform.
