WholeMusic

WholeMusic™ is a paradigm shift in the future of music education.

The first reason that this concept is a paradigm shift is the fact that the WholeMusic™ program is indeed a whole music education.  It is not just a piano lesson.  It is a WholeMusic™ education.  Each student is taught the 20 essential areas of musical knowledge:

  • First and foremost – the love and appreciation of music

  • Elements of music

  • Music theory

  • Music history

  • Piano technique

  • Artistry

  • Improvisation

  • Arranging

  • Transposition

  • Composition

  • Aural perception

  • Sight reading

  • Pop music

  • Classical music

  • Church music

  • Ensemble

  • Accompaniment

  • Interpretation

  • Performance

  • Presentation

The WholeMusic™ paradigm holds that each student needs the opportunity for training in each of these areas.  The extent of training in each area depends on the student's own interests, how long the student is in the WholeMusic™ program, and how much private instruction the student receives each week.

The second reason why it is believed that the WholeMusic™ program is a paradigm shift in the future of music education is because of the focus on mastering success by developing elevated life skills.  WholeMusic students become well-rounded musicians who, through their musical achievements, also master elevated life skills.  Students praise the program’s approaches to developing their:

 I.Q.
 Self-confidence
 Expressiveness
 Ability to learn new skills
 Discipline
 Healthy relationships with teachers and peers
 Public speaking and performance
 Creativity and initiative   Click here for sample compositions of Ashley Bradford's students

The Master’s WholeMusic™ Program trains accomplished musicians who posses the foundational skills needed to be successful in any life path.
